The Studio
Founded in 2023, M3RO grew out of a shared frustration with the gap between ambitious ideas and the engineering rigour needed to realise them. Our founding team had shipped trading infrastructure, trained production ML models, and deployed DeFi protocols — and we wanted a studio that treated those disciplines as first-class citizens, not afterthoughts.
Today we work with early-stage startups and established protocols who need a technical partner that can move fast without cutting corners. We don't do templated builds. Every engagement starts with deep problem research and ends with measurable outcomes.

M3RO was founded in 2023 by a team of engineers who had collectively shipped trading infrastructure for institutional-grade crypto exchanges, trained production machine-learning models serving millions of inferences per day, and deployed DeFi protocols securing hundreds of millions of dollars in on-chain value. The studio was born from a shared conviction that the gap between ambitious ideas and the engineering discipline required to realise them was too wide — and that a small, focused team could close it faster than any large organisation.
Today, M3RO operates as a high-velocity engineering studio working with early-stage startups and established protocols who need a technical partner capable of moving at startup speed without accumulating startup debt. We don't do templated builds or off-the-shelf integrations. Every engagement begins with a thorough problem audit — understanding the domain, the constraints, the failure modes, and the success metrics — before a single line of code is written.
Our Methodology
We run lean, iterative development cycles that prioritise correctness, observability, and performance as non-negotiable requirements. Security architecture is built into every system from day one: MPC wallet key sharding uses hardware enclaves, smart contract deployments undergo formal verification, and every API endpoint is protected by rate limiting, CSRF validation, and origin-based access controls. Our infrastructure is containerised with Docker, orchestrated on Kubernetes, and instrumented with Prometheus metrics and OpenTelemetry distributed tracing.
Technology Stack and Expertise
Our core competencies span blockchain and DeFi engineering (Solidity, Circom, Hardhat, Viem, Ethers.js), artificial intelligence and machine learning (PyTorch, Transformers, ONNX, FastAPI), and distributed Node.js infrastructure (TypeScript, BullMQ, gRPC, Redis, Kafka, TimescaleDB). We work across eight EVM-compatible networks, support cross-chain bridge integrations, and build zero-knowledge proof systems that generate Groth16 proofs in-browser via WebAssembly.
